I started off as a keen mountain biker when I was about 13 riding the local trails and jump park around Timaru.  Halfway through 2017 when I was 16 I started cycling doing local club races and I have been hooked ever since!

My cycling idol would have to be Mathieu Van Der Poel and his “All or nothing approach” to racing. The way that he excels in every discipline of the sport is exceptional and his approach to racing is something I look upon!

The plan for 2020 is to get some experience racing some bigger elite races such as the Gravel and Tar UCI 1.2 and Elite road Nationals in Cambridge in February. I also have many other races planned with Team Skoda Fruzio in New Zealand and Australia. I also hope to get some more overseas experience in Europe at some stage this season and see what I can do with the help of Patrick and Tammy!
